Donation Refund Policy

One-time Donation

If you have made an error in making your donation or change your mind about contributing to the Center for Self-Sufficiency, we will honor your request for a refund made within 15 business days of your donation. To request a refund, please email donate@centerinc.org. Please do not include your credit card number or other financial information when contacting us.

Refunds are returned using the original method of payment, except cash donations will be returned via check. If you made your donation by credit card, your refund will be credited to that same credit card.

Recurring Donation

We appreciate your contribution to the Center for Self-Sufficiency. We know that sometimes circumstances can change and it’s not possible to continue a recurring contribution. To cancel or change your recurring donation, please email donate@centerinc.org and include what type of change you would like to make and as much information about the original gift such as the full name of donor, email address used for donation receipt (or the email connected to your PayPal account), and original amount of recurring donation. You will receive an email confirmation when the change is completed. Please do not include your credit card number or other financial information when contacting us.

Event Refund/Cancellation Policy

Registration Cancellation by Participant

There will be no refund for “no shows.”  If you need to cancel your registration for an event, and notify us within 2 or more days of the event, you will receive a full refund of your registration fee.  If you cancel with less than two days’ notice, a cancellation fee will be assessed that will be deducted from your refund to cover our advance commitment to onsite costs (food, materials).  The cancellation fee will be determined based on the event cost; please refer to event confirmation email to determine this fee for a specific event.  If you need to cancel, please contact us via the phone number or email address provided in the registration materials.

Event Cancellation by Center for Self-Sufficiency

The Center for Self-Sufficiency (CFSS) reserves the right to cancel events. If this occurs, the registrants will be offered a full refund using the same method by which the registration was paid (check or credit card).  Should circumstances arise that result in the postponement of an event, CFSS has the right to either issue a full refund or transfer registration to the same event at the new, future date.
