Partnering to Change Lives

Founded in Milwaukee, WI, in 1997, Center for Self-Sufficiency (CFSS) is a nonprofit organization that strengthens families to reduce poverty by providing programs such as teen pregnancy prevention, parenting classes, healthy relationship and marriage education, and workforce development.

We serve low-income residents who primarily live in Milwaukee, many of whom are middle- and high-school youth, single mothers, fathers who do not live with their children, and offenders returning to their communities after a period of incarceration.
